Optimizely. Optimizely is an A/B testing tool that allows you to modify the HTML and CSS of your website to test different website elements. The configuration for this service is limitless. After you configure an Optimizely experiment you then get to look at the results and determine how each element worked best on your site. Remember, knowledge is power and Optimizely sure give you a lot of knowledge.
How does this relate to Drupal? Well, if you use the
Optimizely Drupal module you are able to specify which pages you want the Optimizely Javascript to load on. By default, optimizely will load the Javascript file on every page. The problem with that is your experiment most likely is only on one page. Loading a Javascript file on pages without an experiment running is wasteful and slows down page load time.
